Perspectives of a Lady, Gentleman & Dane

Different Type of Museum

Hannah Sheflyand

When I think museum, I usually think a collection of artwork or other collectible artifacts in a well lit, well organized almost hospital feel kind of space. At least until I saw Alabama’s Museum of Wonder, a five hundred square foot log cabin filled top to bottom with an obscure assortment of artifacts and original artwork.¬†Butch Anthony¬†started collecting items at the age of 10 years old and has never stopped, he will often wake up in the morning with a collection of random object at his doorstep that others will think he will find some use for.

I found the photos to show a lot of character and would love to visit this museum in person. Have you been to any kind of exhibit like this?

I wonder if there is anything similar in the NYC area.
