EatPastry Cookies

Hannah Sheflyand

About 2 years ago I went on a very strict regiment due to arising health issues from some food allergies. I eliminated over 20 every day food items from my diet, including gluten, egg and dairy products. It was tough at first but with advice from different friends and blogs I learned to be creative with my chocolate and pastry cravings. Most of the time I would make my own desserts at home, but it was nice to once in a while find some products at the store when I wanted something to fulfill a craving.

Just a few weeks ago something amazing popped up in the refrigerated section of my whole foods- EatPastry Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (& it’s Vegan). I went home and popped that right into my mouth and then after enjoying a few spoonfuls, I threw some onto a cookie tray to bake. It is one of the BESTĀ gluten free vegan cookies I have ever had.

After the first time of baking these cookies I have been in love with this company. I kept checking to see if any of the other flavors would appear in Whole Foods but unfortunately they didn’t. I contacted the company on their interactive website and received a response right away. They were apologetic about not having more options in my area but were super sweet and sent me over some baked samples of their gluten free snickerdoodle and gluten free sugar momma cookies. Eatpastry also makes 4 otherĀ flavors of vegan cookie dough (not gluten free).

All of these cookies were delicious, and even Brian who is a skeptic of anything vegan or gluten free was in love. Every week now he asks me when I will bake some more and because it just takes 15 minutes to make, it has been a weekly habit.

I am always excited for new posts on their blog which bring great ideas for how to use their cookie dough. I would definitely recommend you check this company’s website and their amazing mission and get yourself some yummy cookie dough.
